INGREDIENTS
- 1lb boneless round beef steak
- 1lb small red potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch slices (4 cups)
- 2 medium celery stalks, chopped (1 cup)
- 2 medium carrots, chopped (1 cup)
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp beef boullion granules
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 cans (1/4oz each) beef broth
- 1 jar (6oz) sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup all-purpose (gluten-free preferably) flour
DIRECTIONS
- cut beef into 1×1/4-inch pieces. In a 5-quart slow cooker mix beef and remaining ingredients except the water and flour.
- cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 9 hours
- mix water and flour in small bowl, gradually stir into soup until blended. Increase heat setting to high. Cover, cook for around 30 mins or until slightly thickened.
