It is not about the coach. Dan is awesome! It is rather about the system. I do understand that we got short period of time to accomplish significant goals, but it does take time to get to know the platform, making sure that the key documents, such as Daily Tracker is accessible to the trainee, that means of communication are established, so when the time comes for a coaching call we can get connected.
Even understanding the meal plan and nutrition expectations does time time, just like anything else, for example blood test.
I felt overwhelmed previous week with so much happening at once. By the time I got access to True Coach application two workouts were already marked as missed in there. This isn’t how anyone would want to start their training.

Only thing I would suggest is a few more of the instructional videos for workout exercises outside the Main 8 so I can make sure I see how to keep proper form. That's really it. Coach Chris is awesome.

I have no areas for improvement for Coach Chris. My only feedback is really that Muscle Intelligence as a company should either change fitness apps or create its own. The TrueCoach app is poorly made, lacks some basic fitness app feature/funcitionality, Apple Watch/Woop/fitbit integration, and crashes quite often during the middle of a workout when you're trying to enter weights, etc. It actually becomes a distraction at times during the workout vs. a tool. There are much better mobile apps for planning and tracking workouts out there.
Full transparency: my occupation is software and hardware product development, and I manage development teams that create apps outside the fitness industry. So while I have some trade knowledge in this space, I'm not going to be any help to MI there. :) But seriously, the team should really consider moving away from TrueCoach if not doing so already.

We have spoken about using a tracker to log food, exercise, weight etc.
I am quite data driven, what are we doing, why are we doing it, measure results etc.
Chris’ feedback is timely and has definitely helped stabilize weak areas which is great.

I am very driven at the moment and know enough about training to not need hand holding or accountability.
The main area for focus is once we are in the sub 12% bf range to start using trackers to lean bulk. That’s the main area I need the most support on. Have done body comp before but growing size without getting fat is what I look for.

Gavin is a good coach and a good leader. That said, I am not a big fan of the TrueCoach app. It is not easy to use and it doesn't help me select the proper weight for upcoming lifts so I feel like I waste a lot of time.

Greg has always been kind I followed this program exactly and honestly with limited to no results. The recommended vitamins actually made my issues worse. I have to start back at the beginning with someone who specializes in Gut issues and creates a workout actually designed for me and my diet for my issues not just a go-to.

I think Coach Steve does an EXCELLENT job. I've learned so much from him already and I've made great progress in the last 6 weeks!
One thing I would appreciate is if, when I get new exercises added to my program, or there's some change in the workouts, Steve sends me a message to walk me through exactly what needs to be done on each exercise as I sometimes get confused by the instructions.
That said, Steve is always quick to reply and answer all of my questions which I really appreciate.

Honestly, he's been great through the whole process. Communication has been solid; he is gets back to you on questions quickly, checks in frequently (even if it's a quick message), and has good availability overall. He's responsive and adaptive with any curveballs and really provides solid advice.

Tough question, not sure I have a response. Mike always sends me looms for my check ins. He follows up with me if I miss a workout. He helps me work on my scheduling to accomplish top 5. The only thing I feel is a check in with loom feedback PLUS a weekly 30 min meeting are maybe too much for me. And Maybe I’m just not a needy client….but I get thorough feedback in my loom and then a few days later is a zoom and I wonder if it’s necessary. Just my thoughts. I do utilize both as I do trust the process.

The training programs are awesome, but I feel that I'm only paying for programs? When I asked about supplementation, he did go to ask for recommendations from Ben but came back with nothing to suggest ( this was a question asked at the beginning of a mini cut ) communication has been a bit difficult with an issue with an incorrect link to schedule a call and at times there's delays in return texts.

It’s going pretty good but here are a few areas that could use improvement: feedback on workouts is a bit sporadic - seems like I don’t get consistent feedback on Thursday and Friday workouts. We’ve had an issue uploading videos on telegram so that is part of the recent problem, but the issue pre-dates the recent telegram issues. He does great on Monday and Tuesday workouts. Also, looking ahead, it looks like the weekly time slots available are constrained to a few hours in the middle of the afternoons - like 2:00-3:00 pm mountain time. I am finding ways to make this work the next few weeks but It would be nice to have more time slots available. I’d encourage Mike to ask more questions and be more succinct in answers. At times, he can be long winded in responses and repetitive on some topics. Our weekly meetings are short and there is often more topics and Q&A that I would like to get through. I try to send topics in advance via text that id like to discuss on our calls and when we don’t get through everything he has done a pretty good job at following up afterward with a loom video. However, for a lot topics, a follow up misses on some potential back and forth dialogue.

See above. But also - diet. I keep making tweaks to my diet and he provides feedback and it’s very helpful, but it would be nice to get my diet modified and sent back to me (the discussion is great, but it would be nice to see something on paper).

On the positive side, Mike has great energy and is very positive. I appreciate the loom videos and workouts. However, in general, the jury is still out. I am a short and to the point kind of guy. I listen (the first time) and take action. Our check ins haven’t always been that efficient (long responses from Mike and it can be hard for me to jump in and respond). That said, I think Mike and I are getting more efficient in our check ins. I’m learning on my side too - that I can provide more info during the week to help him understand where I am with things and what’s going on, so I take accountability for that and am going to change how I provide info and seek answers. I’m going to try and maintain a more regular dialogue rather than compile questions for our meeting.
In any case, things are going pretty good. The jury is just still out on fit and overall results.

Eventually, it becomes obvious, but the way my mind works, I prefer an upfront overview of what we are trying to achieve so I know how to apply my focus.

Gavs been great. Really wish we kicked off lab work earlier - we started in sept but didn’t receive until late Nov, and didn’t realize bloodwork was required- still working on this (veeeery slow in Canada). Could have kicked all this off last Sept. I say this because this was a big part of the program and my intrigue to resolving issues like fatigue, sleep and nasal drip.

Training app should provide more detail about exercises and videos that match range of motion etc of what I’m being asked to do. If I’m asked to use a specific grip, range of motion, etc, the video should show the exercise with those specifics. The exercise should always state which muscle group or groups are being targeted.

Ben is one of the best human beings I've ever met. His coaching, his attitude and his style were all wonderful during my time with the program. My main issues had more to do with timing, scheduled calls, and delay in getting back changes, diet, results, and billing issues.
What do you feel are areas for improvement for your coach?:
I know first hand growth/ scale is difficult. Systems can be rocky or glitchy when rolling out things. I felt confusion multiple times on which calls and events I should be on and was constantly invited to things I didn't belong on.
Changes to diet, program and results from diagnostic labs were very lagged which made me feel like we were going in big circles for the few months I was on the program. I started as a carnivore with limited vegetables, add in supplements and peptides (at a high cost), then months later found out we needed to adjust those significantly (at a high cost), then realized I was having a severe allergic reaction to the shake and to one of the peptides I was recommended (extremely high cost with tests and hospital visits). I feel like without stopping sooner, it could've taken months to recognize just because of the natural delay in information, probably exacerbated by the fact that this was done remotely and Ben also had to wait a significant amount of time to receive things he would review to give me direction on.
Lastly, I was quoted one amount for this program but continued to be billed at a higher rate. I was told labs were in the mail for a family member and never received them. I couldn't make scheduled calls ever, because of scheduling conflicts. There seemed to be a ton of information and wealth of experience that I just couldn't take advantage of. It's an amazing program, but with my busy schedule and demanding life it just didn't work out. I wish it wasn't the case as this was truly a great experience with Ben.

Initial on boarding - filled out a ton of paperwork with significant detail about myself and Steve did not appear to have read it in detail. This may be more a comment for the business in general but don't have clients fill out paperwork that is not going to be used. Steve has since got to know me and my needs and goals very well via video calls and instagram voice message exchanges etc so zero issue on this topic as of now or going forward, the observation is that the paperwork did not appear to be used much, if so its wasteful to have clients spend time on it. I prefer the coach to get this info via the above methods direct from the client (as Steve did), makes sure nothing is lost in translation.

Explain the logic behind the training program in more detail. Sometimes I'm not sure of what's the exact goal. Understanding why a specific exercise or rep range was chosen, helps me use the proper intent and effort.

Share his overall schedule for the week. I also work with clients and know it's unrealistic to be available all the time. With Steve I'm not sure when he's taking time off. And how fast I can expect a reply.
There's never anything urgent. So I don't think it's a real issue. But helps get a sense of the reply time, so if I need a quick change to my program I can give him an early heads up.

I wouldn't say it is Gavin that needs to improve. The platform should improve by consolidating communications I hate looking all over the place for messages from the team it is rather annoying. My communication with Gavin is very fluid and it works well. The only drawbacks I feel currently are not being sent all of the recorded coaching talks with Ben and When I send out emails to Marcela I do not receive a reply. My expectation for paying such a large sum of money is to receive a message at least within 24hrs. Rather than answer my previous email I was sent out a satisfaction survey which I find Ironic.

More about me finding the time and commitment to work-out. That said, I require work-outs that don't put strain on my hips and right knee. If I could have ZOOM meetings late afternoon or early evening vs mornings.

I’ve had an interview and one meeting with Coach Leah. I received my meal plan finally on Tuesday after asking for some form of nutrition guidance in our one phone conversation. It took 3 months to receive. Why? It’s put in a google document as she said there were some sort of computer issues over the weekend and that was the reason for the delay. Leah said she would provide 30 min quick workouts while at the cabin and trying to get something in. Never received. We were supposed to have a zoom call today and she cancelled last evening due to food poisoning (hope she is okay). Rescheduled for tomorrow. Leah actually thought I took a month off the program and that’s why there was lack of communication. I had a Mohs procedure and couldn’t workout for 2 weeks and did inform her of this. I tried to fill out the questionnaire the last time and it felt so negative that I sat on it and then reached out to talk with her. Again, “I” reached out. I said I felt like I was just doing a program and not receiving any coaching… As she is talking to me she says “so when you start the program on Monday” I’m like I’ve been on the program for six weeks now. She said oh, I thought you were traveling… I went to Venice Beach to visit my son and went to Gold’s Gym. Asked for a workout that I could do there but never received one. She said that she would talk with you about reimbursing for the month - and it was communicated that there would be an added month at the end of the program (just checking if she mentioned) After talking with her I felt better but still felt like there were a lot of excuses. Typing this has taken time as I have deleted and typed, deleted and typed as I’m frustrated. I know Leah is new and learning. I’m 10 months into the program and feel like I cannot properly do a (heavy) squat:(
What do you feel are areas for improvement for your coach?:
Follow through. Communication. I have an Oura Ring - looked at it one time when I asked her to. I also have a CGM. I even hate writing this down as I feel negative but while listening to Ben and he said if you are not doing well in this program it’s because you are not following the plan. I said in a text that I would like to learn all that she is learning and get excited with the program from the new ideas, etc. Teach me! I want to learn too. I want this excitement that’s going around! The 60 day challenge seemed like a blast for you guys. After 3 months how well does she know me? My knowledge of Leah is through Instagram. Since Coach Chris I have not done pics or measurements nor have been asked to do so. How does she know if I’m progressing? I hate to hit send but I filled this out on Monday and didn’t hit send and it reloaded so I lost all I inserted. I would like to sit on this a little bit too but then I won’t send. We have a ZOOM meeting tomorrow to go over some exercises and nutrition. Let’s see how that goes. Hitting send

I think I need 1 to 1 support due to body asymmetries, I have been slow in providing video's, and Leah has altered the workout, but I still doubt that she can understand the complexity of my body mechanics from words I say, or video's without a comprehensive body assessment. It is stabbing in the moonlight.
What do you feel are areas for improvement for your coach?:
Leah seems to not have the wifi access on a consistent basis so I don't feel supported in the way I would like. It's not anything like having a PT training you and getting the feedback, even after I provide details written explanations of what I am feeling. I've sent video's and haven't received alot of feedback about what she has assessed, for me to have confidence in the programming that has then been implimented. I feel she hasn't heard me, at times, hasn't probed enough to find out why I am struggling with something, that I need to be more mentally strong. It feels like this is a side job for her, that she has other things that impact on her being able to connect via zoom or via Telegram. I guess I have some trauma from having coaches who keep on pushing me because I tried hard, didn't listen to my body when things didn't feel right and I am where I am.

Could you please elaborate?:
Via attempting to do the program Leah designed I've come to the conclusion that online is not suitable for me and I need f2f for my remedial needs. I really need to go back to basics as I am quite broken. I least I accept this now, and have now taken on some Yoga as something I can be mindful with and not get upset because something isn't working. Though the yoga program is online it has detailed instructions and modifications, and there is a question and answer section for people to discuss their challenges. I value that type of format. I have had to accept that my image of being strong muscular woman has to be put aside to heal, that I need to slow down, learn to breathe, get unconfused about how to use my core, and relax. Maybe this isn't the season.

Johnny is new to your Team and there was a Hard cut from Ryan to Johnny. I had already two great calls with him. He took the time and asessed everything. The Workout Plans are great. They could be still more Customized as I told him exactly to which machines I have access to and to which I don't. It mostly fits but not always. I did not get anything about the 5 daily high impact habits. I think this is due Johnny is not full onboarded to your system. I uploaded exercise Videos in the first exercise with my Former coach. Nobody gave me Feedback by now. I also asked Johnny to take a look, he said He will but did not by now. I think He just did not have the time by now and am sure he will do it. For me the habits and the exercise execution are two of three things why I joined the program (3rd thing is nutrition). If I improve in those things, I will be able to sustain the progress.
What do you feel are areas for improvement for your coach?:
I think Johnny is a great coach. The Calls with him are very good. He is nice, Funny and most important he is listening. He seems to have great experience in this Business. I think He wasnt fully onboarded to Bens System from the beginning on. It will take some time I assume till He get teached by you in These domains. I am not sure how much time He is "allowed" to spend on each Client. I am waiting for getting Feedback on my exercise Videos and Updates for my nutrition plan.

Steve is doing a great job !. He keeps on me to connect with him and keep active . While I have not been 100% Steve has been nothing but encouraging and patient we me throughout the process .
